5-Ingredient Low Carb Recipes (Free Ebook)

I used to think low carb cooking meant a counter covered in almond flour, three kinds of sweetener and a recipe with twenty-two lines of ingredients. Then a Tuesday happened: no time, no plan, hungry kids, and a fridge with chicken, butter, garlic and not much else. That dinner, garlic butter chicken thighs, is now the first page of this ebook.
The rule I set for these twelve recipes is simple. Five ingredients, plus salt, pepper and a little oil or butter for the pan. If a dish needs a sixth thing to taste good, it did not make the book. That one rule keeps your grocery list short, your cost down and your cleanup small, which is what makes low carb stick past the first week.
What is inside
- 12 complete recipes: chicken, salmon, pork, a sheet pan dinner, zucchini boats, cream cheese pancakes, avocado egg boats, fat bombs and a mug cheesecake
- Serves, prep time and cook time on every page
- Estimated net carbs, protein, fat and calories per serving
- Quantities, numbered steps and one tip per recipe
- A 15 page PDF that prints cleanly on letter paper
Three samples from the book
- Sheet Pan Sausage and Broccoli: serves 4, 5 min prep, 20 min cook. About 7 g net carbs, 20 g protein and 30 g fat per serving (estimated). Key ingredients: 1 lb smoked sausage, 4 cups broccoli florets, 3 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp garlic powder. Tip from the page: Check that the sausage label shows 2 g carbs or less per link.
- Avocado Egg Boats: serves 2, 5 min prep, 15 min cook. About 3 g net carbs, 10 g protein and 20 g fat per serving (estimated). Key ingredients: 2 ripe avocados, 4 small eggs, 4 slices cooked bacon, 2 tbsp shredded cheddar. Tip from the page: If the eggs are large, spoon out a little of the white first so it does not overflow.
- Mug Cheesecake: serves 2, 5 min prep, 2 min cook. About 4 g net carbs, 8 g protein and 22 g fat per serving (estimated). Key ingredients: 4 oz cream cheese, 1 egg, 2 tbsp powdered erythritol, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Tip from the page: Stop the microwave when the center still wobbles slightly; it sets as it cools.
Who it is for
You want to eat low carb without a stack of specialty ingredients and without doing math at the stove. Every recipe lists estimated net carbs, protein, fat and calories per serving, worked out from standard ingredient values. Brands vary, so check your own labels if you track precisely.
I cook for a real household, so portions are real, times are honest and every recipe ends with a tip that saves a mistake. Nothing here needs a special appliance or an online order.
That is the whole idea: real food, few ingredients, numbers you can trust. The book is free, and it goes straight to your inbox when you join my list below. Once you have cooked a few pages and want more, the full cookbook collection is right under the form.
